I have been a decorative painter for more than 25 years, working with top designers on the East Coast to bring the latest and most impressive finishes to their clients' homes, restaurants and offices. I also teach workshops and provide individual consultations to talented homeowners who would like to tackle a project on their own and need only guidance on colors, information on various finishes and paints, including chalk paint, and tips on the techniques professionals use. In addition to interior painting, I love using unique hardware and paints to transform furniture that I find in sometimes the most unlikely places, from garage sales to thrift stores, into up-cycled, beautiful pieces.
