I started my career 14years ago in the Cork Academy of Hair Dressing in Ireland, where I began my journey into a four-year apprenticeship. I have traveled overseas and worked away for five years learning and gaining new skills and mastering new techniques from some excellent stylists in Australia, New Zealand, and the US. I have had two years in a management role. I have worked in leadership roles for five years, responsible for hiring stylists across multiple salons in the Auckland area. I also trained juniors in precision cutting and color techniques, and I have all styling knowledge, including color theory, and I held inspiration seminars with my co-workers. I was proudly part of successfully winning Salon of 2014 from Vivo New Zealand and runner up 2015. In 2015, I also upgraded my qualifications which I previously gained in 2009. I decided I wanted to go further in my career and gain my level 4 diploma, internationally recognized. In the past 14 years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge by attending many courses and seminars, including a nine-month master colorist course with Goldwell. I have had the pleasure to assist fashion stylists in styling models behind the scenes of Auckland fashion week 2014.
