My professional and yoga philosophies are a lot alike: stay focused, be flexible, find inspiration, and remember that everyone is connected.I grew up within a bilingual (Spanish and English), multicultural academic community, where I had multiple opportunities for cultural exchange, both within the school and through international study. The years I spent living abroad, while getting my BA in International Studies, further enriched my intercultural competence and full bilingualism.My cultural curiosity took me on an exciting career journey through cultural diplomacy, cultural heritage management, cultural infrastructure, and theatre production before embarking on translation.In literary translation I found a way to navigate between cultures, calling to all my passions; it requires the deepest of readings and an intimate approach to the source and target languages and cultures. I fell in love with the process of absorbing a text in order to create a new one that can bridge the language barrier and reach a new audience.
