Effective management of the SCM unit in the region through implementation of policies and guidelines and good corporate governnance.

•Assist with the effective implementation and monitoring of the supply contracts management framework•Monitor compliance with principles of good corporate governance and alignment to the relevant legislation•Manage all contractual agreements or expiry of contracts including review dates, in relation to performance, annual fees escalation, terminations and black book listing.•Implement and monitor BBBEE strategy supporting the enterprise and socio economic development aspects•Develop and manage the contracts database and document management system•Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders•Implement operational plans, initiatives and projects relating to contract compliance and management•Implement and monitor contracts and Service Level Agreements•Provide inputs on budgets and acquisition planning•Monitor market share and competitor behaviour in the major custom market segment

•Management of the Procurement function•Provide Secretariat Function for the Bid committees•Monitoring of SCM functions in the head office to ensure compliance to all relevant legislation & internal policies and procedures•Financial Management of the Warehousing & Distribution Section

•Coordinate activities to ensure implementation of Infrastructure Development Projects according to approved business plans.•Collect required information from various stakeholders for reporting.•Assisting with the development of a training plan for contractors and implementation thereof.•Monitoring and reporting on progress and status of the project as required.•Development and assisting of Contractors.•Liaison and coordination of project management activities with Project Liaison Committee/Forum.•Processing payments and upkeep of registers with deliverable information.•Secretariat for the Bid Evaluation Committee
