As a member of the Staff engineering group I help define the future of technology at Checkout and Post-Order Experience pod and BigCommerce as a whole.

I am working with a newly established “Customers” durable team to help with technical guidance, mentorship and domain evolution, ensuring that the team is properly set-up for long term success.

Working as a member of the “Husky” team in the Checkout and Post-Order Experience Pod my responsibilities include ongoing support for various domain teams, providing guidance and solutions for building services, evaluating and exploring various technologies to help advance development experience for CPOE engineering teams.

In May 2019 I have been offered to join a newly formed Sydney extension of the Platform team. My primary responsibilities were development and support of internal frameworks and supporting libraries for PHP service development. This entailed collaborating with various domain teams across the organization to understand their needs and requirements and providing solutions to cater for them.

As part of the Multi-Currency project team I was responsible for making the BigCommerce platform capable of taking orders and processing payments in multiple currencies on a single store.
