Reporting to the Factory Director, was responsible for leading the Procurement & Logistic team of the factory (25 people). Full accountability for the sourcing strategy for all investments and direct/indirect goods procurement. Responsibility on the definition, implementation and execution of all internal and external logistic flows of the factory. - Contribution on direct material savings for the “P-30” project, that aimed an overall product cost reduction of 30%. - Creation of the supplier quality team, responsible for the qualification, evaluation and development of suppliers. - Implementation of logistic lean principles such as kanban’s, milk-run’s and cockpit boards in the shop-floor.

Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager, was responsible for the cost estimating and tender supply chain reviews of the projects. Led supplier negotiations for raw materials (Tube, Pipe and Fittings), executed Purchase Orders (SAP) and follow-up. Responsible for supplier qualification and performance evaluation, including supplier’s performance audits. - Key user for the SAP ERP R/3 implementation in Portugal, including training the end users. Project concluded on time and on budget. - Led two Six sigma projects: Material approval cycle time optimization; Fin strip break reduction.

Reporting to the group Quality Manager, was responsible for quality and environment management of Lisbon North and Oporto sites. Accountable for the ISO14001 certification process with the development of manuals, work instructions and training. - Lisbon North and Oporto sites ISO14001 certified, process concluded in 9 months.

Reporting to the Quality Manager of the unit, with cross-functional activities on Quality/EHS/Purchasing. Acted on quality control, quality assurance, audits preparations, NCR’s monitoring, housekeeping audits, risk assessment, waste management and purchase orders execution on SAP. Collaboration on 8D’s, FMEA’s and control plans.

Collaboration on the certification of the Anodization process and support on plasma coating production area.
