They combine visual storytelling, physical comedy and a love for the absurd to create theatrical experiences that challenge boundaries, break down walls and explore the connections that hold us together.The company’s first theatre piece, CRAZY GLUE, premiered to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014 and has been performed over 100 times in 4 different countries (UK, USA, Bulgaria & Germany). Since 2016, the company has created and toured A DISAPPEARING ACT in the UK & USA. As part of these tours, Single Shoe Productions also leads numerous theatre-making workshops for all ages. Single Shoe has received support from Arts Council England, British Council, Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, greenhouse Seed Funding & the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation to develop and tour their work.
