I am an operations manager with over 9 years of experience in the cork industry, currently working at Amorim Cork America, the world's largest cork producer. At Amorim, I lead and coordinate planning, production, control, and logistics activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, I contribute to continuous process improvement, cost reduction, waste reduction, and the implementation of good management and safety practices. Before joining Amorim Cork America, I worked at Amorim in Portugal, where I was responsible for production management and industrial support in different manufacturing units. I have a master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Aveiro, with skills in quality management, industrial engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving. My mission is to generate value for Amorim and its customers through operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
