Telecommunications is a science based on simple principles and complex implementations being my life’s work to master the first and manage the second.I’m passionate about telecommunications in any form, technical or business, so building new telecommunications networks where they don’t exist or implementing new business cases that challenge the status quo is what drives me to learn new concepts every day and to keep pursuing new challenges outside my comfort zone.In order to pursuit these goals I diversified my path in the last 15 years through several telecommunications domains from Video (broadcasting and IPTV/OTT platforms), Voice (legacy and VoIP), Internet ( fiber and satellite backhaul), transport networks, access networks (Fixed and Wireless) for different segments: B2C, B2B, wholesale and Government. In the last 7 years, doing strategy and corporate development for a Pay-Tv leading Operator in Portugal, became an expert in transforming technical concepts into actionable business deals such as fixed and Mobile network expansion, network sharing agreements and asset sale that unlock value in the range of hundreds of million euros both in wired (FTTH networks) and Mobile networks (towers and active equipment). In order to perform those deals my responsibilities range from defining deal strategy, structure and valuation, contract drafting and negotiation.
