I assisted in revising and extending an existing IIR experiment software framework (called YASFIIRE) for IIR user studies. I also helped with setting up a state of the art eye-tracking and EEG equipment in the lab. I worked on understanding software APIs for both types of the aforementioned equipment and on connecting our existing research experiment framework with that software APIs. I also performed tests of three different eye-trackers in order to assess their accuracy and fitness for research in information studies and HCI (including user interface gaze control). -
