I was recruited from my position as Bi-Silque Group’s CPO & CTO to drive the development, delivery, and marketing of Bi-Bright’s digital and physical products and to guide technical operations. I actively collaborate with the CEO to define and execute strategic plans, develop product visions, and devise roadmaps. I build and coach PO and PM teams, guide full stack development, visual design, user experience, and quality assurance according to combined methodologies including Agile and Jenkins. I create marketing strategies, and mentor the marketing, strategy, product, and manufacturing teams. The decisions I promote and implement are driven by data, as I generate a range of reports and thoroughly analyse the data for risks, issues, and opportunities for improvements. In the short time since I’ve taken on this executive role, I’ve strengthened the company’s position in the global market by strengthening relationships with key suppliers and forging partnerships with universities and other stakeholders. I’ve also implemented new methods that have increased efficiency while adding value to the organization in alignment with short- and long-range goals. I articulated the corporate vision and created the organization’s structure, creating a path for growth and profitability. I devised workflows, and restructured teams accordingly. I’ve revitalized existing products by developing research-driven roadmaps and monetization strategies.

I directed the successful product development, delivery, and marketing across five offices on four continents, managing stakeholder relationships across multiple geographies and guiding three Scrum development teams. I defined OKRs for business and engineering for each quarter and drove consistent goal achievement across milestones and product roadmaps. I initiated the “share your chair” program in which staff members explored product management methods and principles.

I guided cross-functional project teams comprised of up to 19 professionals who provided business solutions to internet and technology start-ups across the globe. I brought several novel ideas to market including a scalable web crawler and backend for mobile application featuring real-time communication with third party business applications. I also delivered a competitive marketplace product comprised of sophisticated frontend, backend, API, native mobile apps, and third-party communications. This product fully satisfied the business requirements of six companies within two months.

I trained and mentored a QA team and coached a development team, guiding environment support and control related to the customization of SCCM applications for Sonae Distribuição. I planned and conducted workshops and training sessions which were instrumental in the success of the creation and implementation of an innovative product that managed quality, client data, capacity, delivery, and reporting across all products. I utilized automated inputs to inform team members of project status, quality of service metrics, and response to capacity versus demand in near real time.I established the department’s inaugural quality team to ensure SLAs were met.

I gathered and analysed requirements, planned, scheduled, and led projects, designed and engineered products, sourced vendors and suppliers, validated and deployed code, and managed applications. In every area I consistently maintained service level agreements (SLA) and met key performance indicators.

I created an application that significantly increased productivity by automating helpdesk and support team tasks while centralizing data and documentation, and I delivered an offline product based on Oracle retail which allowed the company to expand into emerging geographies where existing infrastructure did not support real-time communication. I delivered this product to market within three months and subsequently saw deployment to franchises across multiple locations.
