  • Valtech Group
    Valorization Consultant
    Valtech Group Jul 2018 - Mar 2019
    Menen, Belgium
I worked with the owners family of Valtech Group to develop a go-to-market strategy for their Fibersort technology. Fibersort is a NIR spectroscopy based sorting technology for textiles, which has great potential in the automated sorting of used clothing. Fast fashion is creating an enormous amount of textile waste, of which less than 15% is recycled, and less than 1% is reused in new clothing! Fibersort is helping to close the textile-to-textile loop by sorting used clothing into valuable fractions for higher end recycling. I worked with the Fibersort management team to brand and patent protect their unique invention and develop potential business models to market the technology.
