Closely involved across work streams in the development and due diligence of the winning LaGuardia Gateway Partners consortium bid for the $4 billion Central Terminal Building Redevelopment Project at LaGuardia Airport, the largest P3 project in US to date. Acted as Deputy Lead Representative for the consortium with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey during the Request for Proposal process, and subsequently worked in a chief-of-staff type of role to project company’s CEO, with involvement across strategic design, transaction and transition initiatives. Lease commencement was reached in June 2016, with Vantage as equity member, manager and long term operator. Serving also as the asset manager for Hamilton International Airport, one of Vantage’s network airports.

Working with airline partners to develop, integrate and deliver Connxys' next generation baggage tracking and reconciliation solutions. By incorporating emerging technologies, we help airlines improve the customer experience and their bottom line.

Reporting to Managing Partner/CEO, responsible for development and implementation of the worldwide collective alliance commercial strategy, with a focus on initiatives in sales, marketing, e-commerce, loyalty, training, market research and specialty markets, targeting primarily international business travelers. Through a team of 10 commercial managers based in North America, Europe and Asia, effectively deliver agreed strategies, working closely with airline stakeholders across the world and building on the newly approved joint businesses within the alliance.

As leader of the oneworld Information Technology initiative, ensured effective cooperation between the technology side and business areas. Kicked off development of the long term alliance IT strategy in alignment with the oneworld alliance direction, working closely with the airline CIOs and through proofs of concept launched the alliance Service Oriented Architecture initiative that will provide the alliance with a scalable and flexible IT approach for the future.

Through leadership of the alliance sales and marketing steering groups and working closely with the Vice-President Commercial, formed the alliance sales and marketing direction with worldwide application, resulting in increases in brand awareness, equity and revenue across a multitude of international markets. Led the oneworld global marketing communications activities including recruitment and management of the relationship with the appointed New York-based advertising agency and the development of the integrated oneworld global communications plan. Campaigns ran in markets like France, Germany, Italy, USA and Japan, with digital, traditional and experiential components. Key contributor to strategic reviews of e-commerce and fare product offerings, resulting in the first alliance booking tool for round-the-world fares. Launched pilot project for airline combinable fares, a solution that is integral to the benefits offered by the recently established joint ventures within the oneworld alliance. Developed and managed the oneworld global corporate sales strategy, building the required infrastructure and working closely with the oneworld airlines corporate sales team. The global corporate sales solution has in the meantime generated over 1B USD in airline revenues and continues to build on the framework initially put in place. Developed the concept and initial business case for businessflyer, the oneworld solution for small & medium size corporate and led its successful development and implementation. businessflyer has in the meantime been rolled out to 6 markets in Europe and generated over 100M USD in high yield revenues. Managed the oneworld biz2biz web strategy including the roll out of the online booking tool functionality for airline flights, an alliance first in the industry.
