I was the development manager for the largest product area, Radiology, with 3 group managers reporting to me and 10+ development teams working in the area.I also formed and took on the role as functional lead for a group of 10-15 group managers. In this role I headed areas common to the line manager role, e.g. salary setting, development talks and consultant management and I worked with experience sharing between line managers. I also mentored and coached both new and experienced line managers.One initiative I drove was to, as far as possible, move mandate and delegate decision power from a few key persons to the development teams.

Group manager for our highly experienced Product Owners within Sectra Imaging IT Solutions as well as for our team of UX designers. Since the group worked with all products in the portfolio it was a very wide assignment with a lot of interaction with different roles in all parts of the company.During the last year we prepared for a reorganisation where we went from product development and product management as separate entities to more self-contained, cross-functional product areas.

I headed a section of ~15 persons within a geographically distributed department focusing on providing Test Environments catering to the needs of thousands of developers (in 2G-5G). We took an end-to-end responsibility for the test environments, from analysing requirements to suggesting solutions and configuring the hardware.As part of a geographically distributed leadership team, I'm used to, and appreciate, working with people from different countries and cultures. My focus was on coaching employees, removing obstacles and working with continuous improvements, as well as on transforming the section to start working with 5G. One example of continuous improvement is how I removed bottlenecks through spreading key competencies from one to several persons.I also headed a project focusing on utilization of expensive test environments. By performing an inventory and the making sure the test environments we had were utilized in an efficient way I saved several millions by not having to investing in new HW.

Stakeholder for my organization's requiremens on test orchestration tools owned by our global labs. Responsible for strategic roadmaps in this area. The development teams which work within test orchestration are spread out geographically, hence this role requires good cooperation and communication skills.

Section manager for ~20persons working with continuous integration and legacy test of LTE (4G).A major achievement in this role was to transform from a manual release test scope that took 6w to execute to nearly 100% automated tests, included in the continuous integration framework. The entire LTE product was built, integrated and legacy-tested several times per day, which was an enabler for more frequent releases.

I started as Software Developer for LTE (4G), but soon moved towards team leadership roles. I headed a project where we replaced the development tool used by all LTE-developers. My responsibility went from supplier discussions, to heading the implementation team to preparing the organization for the go-live. Project was succesfully completed, on time.I also worked with team development, transforming a dysfunctional team to productive and well functioning. I actively worked with coaching both individuals and team and also made big changes in the ways of working (one thing I did was to introduce Kanban, which was then largely unknown at Ericsson).During this period, Ericsson went through a massive agile transformation. This gave me a theoretical and practical foundation within lean and agile that I have used and built on ever since.
