I am pleased hereby to apply for job at your organisation. I am very much interested in trying a new challenge after over 8 years field work with the International Committee of the Red Cross. I believe I have the background and language knowledge and can make me a suitable candidate for your organization.As you can see in my CV enclosed, I have over 8 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector. My last assignment with ICRC was on a fixed term contract, which came to an end on 28.07.2015. This is due to the reduction of ICRC activities and lack of access in certain regions and places of detention.I am available to take up new job anytime and anywhere. I was also assessing the situation of IDPs with the ICRC Economic Security (EcoSec) department and then assisted them with None Food Items (NFI), I also conducted RFL services (Tracing, RCM collection and distribution) in the field and for detainees, I registered Eritrean refugees for their repatriation back to their country and participated in the handover at the border. This task involved coordination with ARRA, Military Intelligence and various other Ethiopian authorities. I learned all the above mentioned assignments while on the job and developed experience. Over the years, I have done so many kid of jobs that I am adoptable if I am given any task. Most of the times, I got my experience while conducting the jobs assigned, so my experiences were gained while on the job. I furthermore, have an extensive experience dealing with people, because during my last job, I had to interact with different kind of people, e.g. government officials, political prisoners, refugees, foreign prisoners etc.

  I worked as a delegate interpreter and also covered as acting delegate, visiting prisons and assessing the situation of the IDPs with the ICRC Economic Security (EcoSec) department and then assist them with None Food Items (NFI), I registered and managed the repatriation of Eritrean refugees from Ethiopia back to their home country taking part on the handover process at the Ethiopian and Eritrean border. This tasks involved well planned coordination with ARRA, Ethiopian Military Intelligence and various other local authorities..
