We need to achieve energy from nuclear fusion in few years.Public research is focused on the Tokamak scheme, chosen in 1970 and partially successful.It is good for basic science not for commercial applications.We need to open new paths and find a simpler solution for the industry in few years.It is a though challenge, but I want to face it, because I had the privilige to work for/together most competent fusion scientists in the world, among them:G.
