• Worked on the Fire Mitigation Project through the contracting arm, UGL. The project was a safety upgrade on the alkylation unit. Duties included:
• Coded Welding- provided high spec welds across the plant as well as in work shop environments and ensured adherence to strict timelines and safety practice
• Welding to applicable specs with carbon and stainless steel, TIG and Stick
• Involved in hydro testing and punch listing
• Part of a small team working towards a common goal of finalising project safely and on time

• Working through the contracting arm, Monadelphous, my role was to work as part of the maintenance/projects team that covers projects from piping blowouts to piping upgrades as well as daily maintenance. Initially.
• Interpret work pack, go through isolation process, fabricate pipes, demolish existing pipe where needed, installation of new piping
