Findlay Smith graduated with BSc (Hons) in Physics in 1984 and subsequently enjoyed a highly successful 20 year engineering, earth sciences and business management career within major multi-national oil and gas service companies. In 2004 he established Cape Town Flight Training Centre, which has become the leading provider of commercial pilot training in the Western Cape in South Africa. In 2009 he co-founded afriQA, an offshore oil & gas consultation group specialising in the contract and operations management of 3rd party electric wireline logging services.Specialties: Substantial broad based experience of applied Root Cause Analysis, building winning teams, remote project management, performance well construction, business planning, tender evaluation, contract negotiation and account liaison. Extensive specialised experience in absolutely all aspects of electric wireline logging services.
