Dr Masimba is a Certified Cybersecurity Consultant, Information Systems/Computer Science Senior Lecturer & Researcher with more than 13 years of professional experience in Higher Education Teaching and Learning, Research, Curriculum Development & Quality Assurance. Dr Masimba has consulted widely for the private sector, governmental and non-governmental organizations (Plan International, World Vision & Welthungerhilfe) in areas of Digital Skills, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, ICT4D, Project Management & Business Analysis. Dr Fine Masimba has published a number of research papers in peer reviewed & refereed journals and conferences and is involved in the supervision of Doctoral and Masters students and mentors a number of postgraduate students and emerging researchers. Dr Masimba has travelled internationally, attending trainings, conferences and workshops in different places such as Germany, India,Turkey, South Africa, Namibia among others where he has presented his research through multiple research papers and international conferences notably the IEEE and Springer international conferences. His research interests include Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning,Data Analytics, Business Analysis & ICT for Development (ICT4D). Dr Fine Masimba is a founding member of the Zimbabwe Conference of ICT where he is both a member of the Conference Steering Committee and the Technical Program Committee. Dr Fine Masimba is also a reviewer of a number of refereed journals which include the African Conference on Information Systems and Technology (ACIST), the Eurasia Journal of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (EJMSTE), Fountain Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (FJIS) & the Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation(JEMI). Dr Masimba is a holder of a PhD in Information Systems from Vaal University of Technology in South Africa, Msc in Information Systems Management , Bsc (Hons) In Information Systems, Executive Diploma in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation(PMME), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Certified Cybersecurity(ISC2), Certified in Android App Development to Deployment (INDIA) and a Certificate in Blended Learning Practice (CANADA).
