With a background in community business and cultural leadership, I’ve spent my career working to empower people and build resilient communities. As founder of intoBodmin CIC, I focus on using culture as a catalyst for change, developing creative spaces where people can connect, collaborate, and thrive.My experience spans theatre producing, strategic planning, partnership development, and social enterprise, all aimed at creating inclusive opportunities for local engagement. Within a year, we had expanded the subterranean cellar and once Chinese restaurant to create a 60 seat auditorium and separate vintage cocktail bar. Producing between 4 and 8 in-house productions a year, at least 50% of which are new writing, The Bike Shed Theatre is quickly generating interest from both… Show more The Bike Shed Theatre was formed in Exeter in February 2010. Originally as a pop-up venue for Particular theatre Company, it was evident that a small scale theatre would be popular in the city.
