About Jaclyn Angotti

I am an environmental educator and have dedicated my career to helping others connect with nature. The human connection with nature is an essential part of who we are. My work at the Calgary Zoo and my graduate studies in Education for the Environment inspired me to reflect deeply on my goals and strategies as an educator. My top priority is to provide opportunities for young children to connect to their local flora and fauna through outdoor play, exploration, journaling, gardening and vermicomposting. I am dedicated, passionate, patient and caring - empowering me to connect with people of all ages. My strengths include interpersonal communication, public speaking, teaching, facilitating, teamwork and program coordination. I am always interested in connecting with others who are interested in the human nature connection.
