Advancing the world-class La Granja copper porphyry project, a joint venture with Rio Tinto. Conducted review of downhole and surface structural data and contributed to surface structural mapping campaign. Other duties included geological and geotechnical logging, daily/weekly reporting, drill site inspections.

Early-stage greenfields exploration for orthomagmatic Ni-Cu-PGE mineralisation in the Finnish arctic.Contributed to winter drill program with core logging, drill site inspection/supervision and data interpretation. Conducted review of downhole petrophysical data using AI workflows.

Maiden resource definition at the high grade carbonate-hosted Meskan Zn-Pb deposit in far southeast Turkey.Responsible for managing structural and geological modelling for the project in Leapfrog Geo.Contributed to extensive logging program, surface mapping campaigns and drill rig supervision/inspection.

Worked as a regional exploration geologist on Resolute’s gold projects across West Africa.Exposure to early-stage targeting, mapping and sampling, through to resource drill outs and mine geology at the world class Syama-Tabakoroni mining complex.Tasks included: Geochemical and geophysical interpretation/targeting; drillhole planning; soil sampling and auger drilling; surface, pit and trench mapping; AC/RC/DD logging; drill rig supervision; geological modelling and resource estimation; training national geologists; business development reporting/assessment.

Completed work for my MSc thesis, sponsored by Altus Strategies.I analysed and reviewed existing geophysical and drillhole data to produce a preliminary geological model and resource estimation of the Diba NW gold deposit.Orebodies were modelled using both implicit and explicit methods with estimations produced through ordinary kriging, inverse distance squared, nearest neighbour, radial basis function and conditional simulations. Comparisons were made between the methods and results, with suggestions made for a follow up drill program with the aim of (i) increasing confidence in the resource estimations and (ii) expanding the bounds of the modelled orebodies. Altus Strategies is a Project & Royalty Generator in the mining sector, with a diverse portfolio of multi-commodity projects at various stages of development in Cameroon, Liberia, Ethiopia, Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire and Mali. I worked a desk-based position within an interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to expanding the business and creating value in its existing assets. Key responsibilities included: - Performing research and writing comprehensive reports on competitors and potential JV partners, detailing their assets, recent corporate development, financial position and market statistics- Drill/sample targeting on projects in western Mali, using large GIS datasets, DEM models, geochemical data and remote sensing- Performing research and GIS digitisation of competitor licences in northern Ethiopia for use in company presentations - Digitisation of recently published metal anomaly data throughout northern Cameroon; subsequent selection of gold targets from artisanal workings - Compiling a report on VMS projects throughout the Arabian-Nubian shield; detailing their geology and exploration history in order for plans to be drawn for the cost-effective implementation of geomagnetic and/or trenching surveys to be undertaken on company licences

(Formerly AfriTin Mining)AfriTin Mining is a mining company with a portfolio of near-production tin assets in Namibia (Uis Project) and South Africa (Mokopane Tin).I mapped and sampled a 30km2 exploration permit with emphasis on characterising and delineating Sn, Li and Ta bearing pegmatite bodies, as well as non-mineralised veins. Data collected in the field was used in my masters project, which involved the petrographic and geochemical analysis of samples, aiming to determine the nature and origin of mineralised pegmatites in the area. Conclusions reached were contrary to recent literature, suggesting a significant temporal, spatial and petrological link between the pegmatites and nearby monzogranites via fractionation along a single liquid line of descent.
