For 5 months I worked on the development of novel TCSPC electronics for Edinburgh Instruments. During this time I gained experiance of the entire design process, from modelling in MATLAB and LTSpice, PCB design using Altium, and firmware development for Xilinx FPGAs using Vivado.

As president of the university Mountaineering Club I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, and interfacing with the sports union. I was responsible in general for the club meeting deadlines and targets set by the sports union, as well as organising and running club trips and events. I also ensured that all commitee members had all required resources to succesfully complete the tasks required for there roles.

During my time as treasurer of the University Mountaineering Club I was responsible for all transactions to and from the club. This required a keen attention to detail to ensure that all accounts are kept up to date, and that all incomings and outgoings are as expected.

During my time at The Grand Whisky Auction I was part of a team responsible for the handling, packing, and shipping of high value whiskies globally. I also picked up additional roles whenever required, such as processing whisky deliveries when they arrived and processing thm to be listed for auction.

During my time at Morrisons I was responsible for the picking of products for home deliveries, ensuring that all produce was fresh and to a high standard, as well as ensuring that all customers received the correct products. I was also responsible for ensuring that all scheduled home deliveries left the warehouse in a timely manner, with all orders on-board.

I was the guitarist in a 5 piece ceilidh band that toured the Highlands of Scotland, which involved performing in a variety of settings including ceilidh dances and festivals. Within the band I was responsible for liasing with venues to confirm performance details.
