As a collections officer at CBA, my role is to make outbound calls to follow up borrowers in arrears of payments in Credit Cards, Home Loans, Personal Loans, and Overdrawn Personal Accounts, and to recover outstanding payments. The focus is on minimising losses to the Bank, whilst at the same time gaining an understanding of the customer's situation and delivering excellent and courteous customer service. I will then be able to use my keen sense of negotiation to get them back on track with their payments and retain their business while ensuring that the customer is happy with the service provided to them.
