Lead on a project to identify locations for High Brown Fritillary expansion. Required carrying out of surveys and analyses of maps, this information lead to a successful grant application.

Lead on a project looking at the species reintroduction potential across National Trust properties in North Devon. Worked with multiple ranger teams and outside organisations to compile a list of species with reintroduction potential to build further work on.

One of two research assistants charged with recording the behaviour of a troop of habituated western lowland gorillas in Loango National Park, Gabon. This involved tracking and following the group through the forest everyday. The position also involved the maintenance of a large scale camera trap project that encompassed the home range of the troop as well as the habituation of a second group of gorillas. Furthermore we were tasked with leading tourists on excursions into the forest to see the gorillas.
