Working as a part of Intergroup’s team on the Maari field facilities, on behalf of OMV and their operators Modec. Duties include but not limited to rope access job planning/team leader, technical rope access works, equipment installation, rigging/crane ops, abrasive blasting, painting, dropped object removal, confined space entry, work over water, inspection/assessment, mechanical prep and paint, safety watch, cargo oil tank works, preparing and receiving permits, timesheeting and daily/project reporting when required.All whilst working to a high quality standard in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Working on behalf of the client BW Offshore/MBIE to prepare the FPSO Umuroa for its journey to Indonesia after its decoupling from the Tui field’s. Duties required include but not limited to permit/workscope planning and preparation, potential dropped object removal, assessment, inspection, fabric maintenance, mechanical prep and paint, rigging, confined space and work over water, all both on and off ropes.

A member of the maintenance team at Turoa ski area when I am not working out of town. Towards the end of my time with RAL I worked as a lift mechanic year round, this has continued in the same capacity post sale of Turoa to Pure Turoa Limited.Reporting to the Maintenance manager and Ski Area Manager I am tasked with assisting the team where required. Whilst making use of my background in specialist access to assist the trade qualified team members (lift mechanics, electricians, fitters, carpenters) with their tasks at height. This can involve lift servicing, inspection, setting up rigging for scopes on buildings/roofs and towers, fabric maintenance, providing internal training and much more.

My role as a ski patroller is an incredibly dynamic one with many challenges and changes to take on every day to ensure we can maintain a high level of safety.• Assess and mitigate conditions, hazards and risks to open a safe ski field• Respond to, treat and transport medical, avalanche and rescue incidents• Have a high level of skiing ability in all conditions and terrain• Use ice axe and crampons along with other alpine equipment to travel safely• Maintain a high level of training competency in all areas of my role• Complete Avalanche control work using explosives to open the ski area• Erect signage and prepare and install safety systems• Maintain plant protection systems• Train staff in working at height and rescue techniques• Train staff in and develop cableway rescue systems• Use rope access techniques to work on roof’s, buildings and towers• Train staff in and develop alpine technical rescue systems• Developing a more permanent and hands-off approach to hazard mitigation systems• Communicate effectively between departments and with appropriate managers• Provide rescue and safety support for de-icing teams• Provide assistance to the HSE department regarding close calls and notifiable events• Drive snowmobiles safely• Help any department with their needs whenever possible• Assist LandSAR and the Police with search and rescue jobsI work within the deicing team to ensure the lifts are clear of ice during storms. I also work within a general role outside of my patrol duties colloquially known as sift ops. This uses my other skillset to help develop and complete a wide range of jobs at the request of different managers.

During time my time as a rope access technician with ARABAC I worked on a range of large projects both offshore and onshore. Primarily working in Taranaki but also throughout the North Island as required. All work was completed safely, to a high standard and on time to the clients satisfaction. Clients worked for included Shell, OMV, COSL, Worley Parsons, Fonterra, Tegal, Department of Conversation, Regal, Lion, TSB, New Plymouth City Council, Taranaki Regional Council and more

As a Sailing Coach I was responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable environment where the fundamentals of sailing from basic learn to sail to higher level racing at national regattas. Aside from coaching itself the job entailed, power boat driving, lesson/session planning, routine maintenance, first aid and safety and keeping as a positive and informed relationship with the ones that were paying (parents)

Uptown Bounce was a trampoline park located in Lyall Bay Wellington. As a team member I was responsible for ensuring the customers were remaining safe, learning new skills, the facility was kept in a clean state, any general maintenance tasks, respond to first aid cases.

Fixed term summer contractAs a Loader my primary duty was to assist passengers with divesting any items they had on their person and send them through the security scanners. This was to take a load off security officers during peak travel season. Other duties included ensuring passengers were aware of security protocols, assisting Aviation Security Officers wherever necessary to ensure safety in the skies.
