I was a baseball prospect committed to play in college but I got Tommy John Surgery my senior year of high school, 1 year after getting reconstructive knee surgery, which dramatically changed my plans... Instead of going to college I took a gap year and wanted to learn how to make money online, so I taught myself e-commerce. After some minor drop-shipping successes, I pitched myself to a startup and got hired as employee #1.Instead of going to college, my education was wearing multiple hats as an intrapreneur in that startup From that experience I:Drove over 7 figures in e-commerce sales on Shopify with no paid advertising, only influencer and email marketing. We also grew our amazon business to over 7 figures ARRWorked with some of the largest creators in the health and wellness space to build out funnels and live webinar events, most driving high 4-5 figures in sales per event. Then: I built a software called Grouped. We (originally my wife Claire and I) built Grouped to give creators who are online coaches a place to build a membership space off of social networks that they own in entirety. The idea came because Claire is a healthy food creator who needed a space to sell her weekly recipe plans to her followers while building community around it.We launched with just Claires group, which absolutely crushed it, but her community offering was so niche and hard to replicate it was difficult getting other health / food creators on. From there, we learned, met amazing partners, and pivoted to supporting music artists and giving them the ability to direct connect with & monetize their top fans... From data collection, to building a private community of your most loyal fans, to monetizing, Grouped is a powerful tool for artists, that is growing very fast, with extremely high potential.In just 1 year since the music pivot, we've grown to over 250,000 users and have processed over 7-figures.
