I achieved a place on a summer research internship at the University of Manchester working as part of the De Visser computational biology group. My work during this time was focused on researching novel reaction pathways of Deoxypodophyllotoxin (DPS) using a non-heme iron catalyst. Within this time I learnt to use gaussian 09 as well as chemcraft. I also used python modules such as openpyxl seaborne and matplotlib to analyse and visualise results.
