Reported directly to the CEO, I was responsible for managing multiple teams, along with architecting the software behind multiple ventures from the next generation algorithmic execution system, to a simple intuitive virtual machine management system aimed at allowing non-technical users to manage a complex virtualization infrastructure.-Innovated, Designed, Architected, and developed next generation algorithmic & electronic order execution system for a Options/Equities Broker/Dealer- Highlights:- operated in sub 10 microsecond range- massively parallel, distributed, lock free- advanced order execution algorithms (TWAP,VWAP, etc)- liquidity sourcing algorithms.Built a Complex Event Processor which the next generation algorithmic trading and execution system was built itHighlights: -Linq like programming language that allowed rapid prototyping of HFT order execution strategies- Ability to do run time compiling- Ability to do live patching, along with run time unloading and loading of strategies- capable of handling 400,000-600,000 parent orders per second on a a laptop. In comparison NASDAQ has a record just over 1,000,000 orders per second.

I am currently working for IBM, in the AIM division on a product called IBM DataPower. I am on the Security Development team, with my current responsibilities ranging from OpenSSL development, to cryptography, to the underlying Linux appliance code.

Worked with a wonderful group of traders, and traded a million dollar account. I was responsible for making my own trading decisions, and was provided top of the line mentoring. This experience, including holding my series 7 at age 19, really helped me understand the markets from a buy side perspective, and to watch the beauty of capitalism take place in the real time for 2 years.
