I am passionate about New Zealand's natural environment. I have over 25 years’ experience working in conservation, species management, pest management and biosecurity. I enjoy being able to apply my passion, dedication and skills to enhance NZ's environment. I am an experienced Portfolio/Programme/Project Manager and in particular love to deliver good project and process management for conservation or climate related projects. I also love to plan and develop strategies: build partnership agreements to aid excellent working relationships, deliver face paced emergency responses or the more long term readiness projects. My career to date has been focussed on working in the central and regional government sector. As of September 2022 I am embarking into delivering the same work but in the private sector via working as a managing director in a private conservation based company - Te Ngahere that I own with my husband. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and in building a growing team of experience conservation operators ecologists and project managers.
