My current role involves ensuring a consistent message about any new processes, sales or business updates are received across our retail, customer care and office support team. I conduct country wide store visits to gather feedback and get a better understanding of how our brand is received in store, as well as try to explore any ideas from our retail team that they think may work to help improve the business.Holding forums with our retail team and customer care team to get feedback on system changes and what they'd like to see, as well as delivering updates and training. New starter training and induction - Presenting to a team of new joiners to the business to give an introduction to who we are, what we do, and how we work. On-top of this, I would do a training session to show how our systems work and make sure everyone understands how user friendly it is. Building reports of system usage, and analyzing any knowledge gaps and coming up with ways to eliminate such gaps and ensure all team members are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to carry out their job to the best of their ability. I have had many opportunities to get involved with different teams across the company, including our fraud & security team, online sales team, billing and tech. This has broadened my knowledge of how each area of the business runs and has allowed me to give input when creating new processes and how I feel they would work and/or effect our retail team. I have also been a part of our online sales team, assisting with processing and boosting our customer base over the past 12 months.

As Carphone Warehouse released their own Network, I was in the fortunate position to assist with the opening of the first store in Ireland, and manage it with a team of 5 other people. I was right hand man to the Regional manager and covered the 12 stores in his absence with sales updates, feedback, dismissals, informals, and recruitment. As we were short staffed with managers for some time, I would cover four stores. I also ran our Kiosk in Liffey Valley over the Christmas period within our first year of business.

I moved from our Dundrum Branch, over to swords when an opportunity or progression arose. I stepped into the role of Senior Sales in our Carphone store within Harvey Norman in Swords. This is where I undertook Assistant manager duties and really got to work hands on with people management and encouraging team work.

I began here as a sales consultant in our Carphone Warehouse store, before the store was partnered with Samsung. I was in store and helped out with the transfer from a Carphone store to a Samsung Experience store. Within Samsung, I was a smart academy trainer, being the consultant who could sit down with our customers one on one, or in groups, and teach them about their new devices.

While working in the Rathfarnham branch, and moving to our Dundrum branch, I also helped out as much as possible in our Sandyford branch on days off or whenever cover was needed.
