I help people to use and create information, and advocate so that everyone can do the same. My experience has included strategic roles with global impact on the library and information profession, national influence, and lasting outcomes for library organisations and individuals. I also have a strong interest and background in research, and am currently undertaking a PhD in international relations focused on transnational advocacy networks and their role in freedom of information and digital sovereignty.My work has spanned:Academic library management and service deliveryPolicy and advocacy in areas including research evaluation, copyright, open data and open access, and a significant focus on the UN 2030 Agenda (Sustainable Development Goals)Extensive focus on building the capacity of the library profession, working closely with associations, and individual leadersStrategic planning, programme design, delivery, and evaluation.
