As the manager of both the IT and Accounting departments at Duraloy Technologies, I strive to ensure the quality and reliability of the work done by my five direct reports. I manage IT department spending and direct projects so that Duraloy's IT business needs are met. In addition, I maintain the accuracy and reliability of our accounting reporting and information while recognizing and correcting areas where we can improve upon our efficiency and organization.

I expanded my Business Systems Analyst role to include the management of two direct reports. With those direct reports, I continued to direct the transition to and implementation of the modern ERP system and then directed projects to expand its scope. I ensured that IT needs were met and that issues were resolved in a timely manner.

In my role as a Business Systems Analyst at Duraloy Technologies, I interfaced with employees to gain a deep understanding of business processes and workflows in order to assist with and later direct aspects of the transition from a legacy, Cobol-based ERP system to a modern, cloud-based one. I used a working knowledge of Cobol to translate and replicate the legacy ERP system with the modern one and maintained communication with those using the system to ensure the quality of the modern system. With this project and others, I developed relationships with IT vendors to ensure the quality of existing IT infrastructure and then grow that infrastructure according to business needs. Furthermore, I developed and implemented cybersecurity measures and training plans that reduced incident-related business downtime.

As a research assistant in the English Department working for Dr. Kelli Maloy, I developed and worked on a research project related to the intersection of postcolonial, feminist Irish literature with GIS and spatial theory. I then presented the culmination of that research at an international digital humanities conference.

In my role as a campus Presidential Ambassador, I represented the campus president at official events and represented the student body to the campus president.

I assisted and taught students in Java Programming classes and helped to revise and edit student papers as a writing tutor.

I attended to camper illnesses and injuries, managed camper medications and allergy plans, and maintained a safe, clean environment where medical issues could be addressed.
