For more than 20 years I have worked my way through all aspects and positions of accounts and finance whilst I studied my degree and CPA part time. During my time, I have learned to think commercially and strategically, which assisted in achieving improved outcomes via alternative processes to progress the business. I developed good people management skills, where retention and personal development are extremely important to both myself as well as the business. I believe in a flexible and relaxed working environment, but when tight deadlines are required, then it’s all hands-on deck to achieve the required outcome.I am a Senior Manager with experience across multiple industries that include ASX, SME and professional services with Financial and Commercial aspects. Experience with client management, asset management, multiple site P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, complex Cash Management across multiple ABN’s and banking facilities. Demonstrated ability to manage change during a time when the business had undergone large internal infrastructure improvements and assisted in implementing large and small I.T Systems. During these changes I continued to retain and build high performing sustainable accounting and I.T teams.I enjoy working with all aspects of the business where the Accountants role is no longer just about numbers, it’s about collaborating with all facets of the business. These types of collaborations will create strong working relationship across all levels and will assist in making stronger financial and commercial recommendations. All recommendations need to align with the businesses vision and goals where transparency is key in keeping everyone engaged in achieving the businesses success.
