My unique perspective as a former patient, practitioner and practice administrator has led me to a career providing specialist business support in the health and well-being field. A passionate advocate for the functional medicine community, I believe that the wealth of knowledge, resources and ever-growing number of providers practising this form of healthcare should be accessible to all. I am very proud to be working alongside Kirkland and the team at MindHealth360 and IMMH2024 to further this cause. I have supported both the operations team and patient care coordinator at one of the first multidisciplinary functional medicine GP teams in the UK. During my time there I was involved in identifying business development opportunities, the facilitation of webinars, an online conference and the introduction of a new patient records system. As part of my work with a leading endocrinologist in the UK I have set up the practice's electronic patient records and operations system, created and built intake forms, liaised with laboratories, provided research assistance and established an efficient, smooth patient onboarding process.Additionally, my work with private speech therapists, a large private speech therapy service working with local school authorities, a mindfulness coach and running my own nutritional therapy practice, means I am experienced with a broad range of policies and processes throughout the healthcare field.
