I work in Private practice in Celbridge Co. Kildare. Previously, I also worked as an affiliate counsellor for a number of national and international EAP providers offering short term solution focussed counselling. I place huge value on diversifying my business and enjoyed a part time position as a school counsellor from 2012-2015. This position is supported through the School Completion Programme for disadvantaged schools. This exposure allowed me to maintain a high quality of service delivery which is further supported by my commitment to Continuing professional development where I have had the opportunity to train through the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Foroige, The Hospice Foundation among others. I also work as a Critical Incident First Responder having trained in both Group and Individual crisis management. I have begun to develop the Supervision side of my skill set, supporting individual therapists at different stages of their training or careers and additionally since 2019 I have been doing cross professional supervision with ICPO, Irish Council for Prisoners Overseas. My background in Education influences my interest in supporting trainee therapists. It also contributes to my work with adolescents in particular.
