Fiona Dodsworth has 12 years’ healthcare public relations experience. Upon joining Interaction in November 2000 Fiona’s first assignment was to work on a major cardiovascular product, co-promoted by AstraZeneca and Takeda UK. After working on this brand for five years the co-promotion was ceased which has resulted in Fiona continuing to work with Takeda UK on other aspects of their portfolio. Fiona has worked in the cardiovascular arena for approximately ten years, also heading up the Solvay Healthcare account. She has worked with the leading cardiovascular KOLs in healthcare and has extensive knowledge of the market. In addition she has organised numerous national and international symposia; developed pre-launch to launch campaigns within which a synergy between consumer and healthcare markets and target audiences is key and manages many national and international advisory boards.Prior to Interaction, Fiona worked for Burson-Marsteller, Healthcare Practice, London where she provided strategic counsel for a number of pharmaceutical clients. These included, Merck Sharp and Dohme, Glaxo Wellcome, and latterly, Andersen Consulting (Pharmaceutical and Medical Products Division). In particular the Andersen Consulting programme was a specific media relations programme. In addition, Fiona was responsible for developing and implementing communications programmes involving pre-launch activities, media relations, as well as, third party and opinion leader development.Previous communication experience includes a position as Medical Editor for Excerpta Medica, Hong Kong. Before her departure to Hong Kong, she worked for both Hill and Knowlton and Scope Ketchum in their healthcare departments. Fiona's expertise ranges from new product launches, opinion leader development to media relations to working with third party organisations.Fiona has a BSc.
