I have spent much of my professional life as a secondary English teacher working in a range of schools with different levels of responsibility. In addition to teaching I have worked for The London Leadership Strategy (part of the London Challenge), lectured for the Institute of Education and written for various resource publications. Towards the end of my school based career I became more and more interested in leadership and team dynamics and increasingly found myself coaching people in complex management situations. This led me to acquire accreditations with a psychometric testing tool (C-me colour profiling), and a work place mediation qualification. Using these accreditations I set up my own training company in 2014 working with teams and individuals helping them to communicate better. Subsequently I have led leadership and communications workshops for Multi Academy Trusts across the UK and internationally, worked with companies specialising in everything from technology to retail and delivered training programmes for third sector organisations including cathedrals. I also have an MA in theology and contribute to a theological publication and when I can I work with the Bristol museum service in both the city museum and M Shed which is highly enjoyable!
