I am a solicitor with in excess of 30 years litigation experience. I have represented plaintiffs and defendants in the Circuit and Superior Courts in civil law matters. I am a member of and former chair of the litigation Committee of the Law Society of Ireland. I was a Law Society nominee on the Circuit Court Rules Committee from 2011 to 2021 and I have just completed two terms as a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. I have an in depth knowledge of the law on Assisted Human Reproduction including Surrogacy. I advise on legal issues in this fast developing area of Medical science. I act for people who wish to have children through surrogacy both in Ireland and overseas. I am actively involved in efforts to have positive legislative changes in Ireland. I write and speak on related issues. I am a board member of Merrion Fertility Clinic. I am a member of the UK and Ireland LGBT Family Law Institute and a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA)
