Fiona Eagger is one of Australia’s most versatile producers.She gained experience working with feature director Paul Cox and at Crawford Productions before producing her first series for television, Ark of Gondwana (SBS). She went on to produce two series of the award winning animation The Web and line-produced The Good Looker, a dramatized documentary. Fiona’s first television drama series credit as producer was the 13-part series Mercury (ABC) starring Geoffrey Rush. She then worked with CoxKnight developing and producing the 13-part series Crashburn (Ten). She produced the acclaimed telemovie The Society Murders in 2006 and she produced the telemovie, The Informant, in 2008, both for Screentime and Ten.Fiona’s film credits include producing the featurette Only The Brave, directed by Ana Kokkinos, which won numerous awards locally and internationally and screened at festivals including Venice, Toronto and New Directors, New Films in New York. Her first feature film as Producer was Mallboy, directed by Vincent Giarrusso, which made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival In Directors Fortnight.Fiona has also worked with award-winning director Sarah Watt as consultant producer on her short animation Small Treasures and as producer on the family animation The Way of The Birds, shown on Seven Network. In 2009 she formed production company Every Cloud Productions under which she produced two series of East of Everything as was Executive Producer and Producer, and across 3 series of the international-hit period drama series Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.Fiona was also an Executive Producer on the 6-part Every Cloud series The Gods of Wheat Street, which aired on ABC TV, and the 8-part legal drama series Newton’s Law, which Fiona produced and executive produced, also for ABC. Every Cloud is currently in development on a range of projects after receiving development funding through the Screen Australia Enterprise Stories program.
