About Fiona Williams
Hello! My name is Fiona Williams and I am a senior at Howard University, majoring in chemistry with a minor in biology. I am passionate about gynecologic cancers and spent the past summer as a 2024 Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) scholar at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where I am researching health outcomes for individuals with these cancers. In the Summer of 2023, I interned as a American Cancer Society Diversity in Cancer Research student (ACS-DICR) at Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center. In this role, I explored the molecular differences between early and late onset colorectal cancer patients while investigating early detection measures for CRC. Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy being a member of HU Bison Catholic Ministry (currently serving as Co-President) and serving as a Howard University Student Ambassador.
