As Head of Data & Analytics for the Advice Business, I had responsibility for the data supporting the Advice licensees, and developing a data driven culture. Dashboards are utilised by Advisers and the Licensee Services business unit to understand trends, support business decision making and ensure adherence to Adviser Compliance requirements.> Led the Business As Usual (BAU) team and development pipeline management for new dashboards and dashboard enhancements.> Led the Data Quality and Data Governance activities in accordance with APRA standards.> Responsibility for divisional adherence to Australian Privacy Principals.Achievements & outcomes> Formed an effective new operating model for the team, enabling imbedment of a stakeholder responsive approach. > Developed positive and collaborative working relationships with all members of the Advice Leadership Team. In my role as Platform Owner for Licensee Services, I had responsibility for the technology supporting the Licensee Services business. This involved leading a team of BAU resources and vendor management to provide platform support.In addition, I performed the role of IT Program Manager on the Advice Transformation Program. In this role I was accountable for the execution of all technology initiatives on the program. As Project Manager on the Advice Business Review Program, I managed three projects – 1. Implementation of a Call Digitisation SaaS 2. Implementation of an automated fee dial-down solution across AMP systems 3. Implementation of a variety of technology and business changes to the Adviser audit framework. These projects delivered on several ASIC and board commitments, while improving compliance and automating processes. In performing the role of Project Manager I was responsible for developing business cases, funding requests, delivery submissions, facilitating the Working Groups and Design Authorities and presenting to the Program Steering Committee for each project. In addition, I managed the budgets, schedules, engagement of senior stakeholders, vendor delivery, and IT portfolio delivery.Achievements & outcomes> Delivered the projects on time and within budget, ensuring all ASIC and board commitments were met> Implemented a new operating model for the General Advice – Operations & Compliance team to commence using the Call Digitisation Platform. This delivered business benefits of automated compliance checks on 100% of calls, significant operational cost avoidance was realised.> The project I led won an industry award for the best cloud implementation for the implementation of cloud based solutions to achieve business goals, demonstrated business impact, cost reduction and best practices including efficiency of roll-out and solution adoption.
