About Fiona Jarvis

Having had successful roles in Software Sales, Inside Sales & purchasing management over the past 30+ years (including successful sales management roles at SAP), I am now founder & CEO of Blue Badge Style www.bluebadgestyle.com and Co-Founder of The Blue Badge Access Awards. I am also Co-Chair of DEIB Council at The Inst. of Hospitality (IoH) which promotes 'true inclusion' in the sector. I am an Associate Member if the IoH and an Honorary Fellow of RIBA.Blue Badge Style is a social network of like minded people where 'style & disability are not mutually exclusive'​ . The community in the UK is, at a minimum, 1m & 8m in Europe, consisting of people who need to know where to go, what to buy, what to do, '​in style'​, but happen to have a disability. We inform them of the obstacles/facilities they may find and have a 'Michelin-Like'​ rating system for venues. The aim is to create a community of 8m in Europe, to encourage people with disabilities to live full lives and generate revenue. The primary revenue streams are our BBS Access Galleries for venues and a premium Concierge App. for Venues. The BBS Rating System of up to 3 Blue Ticks, is intended to be a mark of quality that organisations wish to aspire to. It will have value to an organisation (i.e. access to a market of worth £25Bn+), just like a Michelin Star. The side effect of this is social inclusion through economic necessity rather than compulsion.We are looking for further investment/sponsorship to develop and promote the site & Apps throughout Europe/Globally. We want to implement our new innovative business model for Accessibility.The business intends to be profitable and self financing within 2 years.
