Hey there, I'm Fiona, a tech enthusiast with a unique background in Terrorism studies.After completing my master's degree in Violence, Terrorism and Security, I decided to pivot my career towards tech and was selected for the School of Code Bootcamp in April 2022. Over 16 weeks, I immersed myself in the fundamentals of programming and gained proficiency in languages like Javascript, React, PostgresSQL, CSS, and HTML. I quickly fell in love with coding and the journey of delivering an app from testing to deployment while ensuring the end product meets the user's needs. Since leaving the Bootcamp i've been learning Typescript and Python and dabbling in Ruby and Java. While exploring the vast field of tech, I developed a growing interest in cyber security that I'm eager to develop further. In my free time, you'll often find me diving into TryHackMe rooms, keeping up with the latest reporting based on OSINT work, and reading about the intersection between tech and terrorism.I'm excited to explore new opportunities in the tech industry and contribute my unique skill set to solve complex problems.
