Full stack developer working on React frontend and python/django backend. During my time in this role, I have lead the development of a component library to be used in our frontend and introduced usage of prototyping tools such as storybook, as well as jest and snapshot testing. Although we use redux for many old components, we are building new components using the new React context API.On the python side, I have developed open source packages for aggregation through the api and introduced batching of HTTP requests for efficiency.

I worked on a variety of different projects using a range of languages including C++, Python, VB and web related technologies (Django, Ajax, PaperJS, ChartistJS, jQuery). I have become familiar with Tortoise SVN, MySQL and SQL Server alongside QT and a number of different libraries for Python.Alongside my software role, I also assisted the track engineers by monitoring telemetry, processing data and contributing to performance reports.
