For many years I have supported learning in schools. After studying creative writing at Lancaster University, I won a couple of short story competitions. I enjoy being a freelance creative writing facilitator in diverse settings, including lifelong learning at Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester University. For me writing is therapeutic. In 2009, I produced a hopeful debut, young adult novel called, ‘Get Over It,’ Onwards & Upwards. An award winning YA short story was published called Off the Beaten Track. Then, I was published with an anthology ebook, called, ‘The Heavenly Road Trip.’ These are hopeful coming of age stories. Since then an American publisher has included my Love non fiction prose in the ‘Spiritual Awakenings’ anthology, for 2013. This won the Unique Writing Publications award, in 2010.
