I worked as a Quality Improvement Adviser with NEL ICS in Newham. I coached equity projects in Newham supporting them to develop their projects using the IHI Model for Improvement. We followed The Sequence Of Improvement and I managed and tracked through excel spreadsheets. I presented monthly progress reports and shared updates with The Health Equity Board. I taught a bespoke Equity Pocket QI one day a month. The course was a free resource and available to all members of the community in Newham who were interested in developing an Equity project. I presented regular PowerPoints and updates at The Health Equity Learning Community.

I promoted of careers success stories via the Trust website and collaborated on a careers Information Day 24th May 2022. I delivered 1:1 Careers advice sessions with learners and ran weekly webinars offering advice and guidance around CV's, Job application, job search, and writing personal statements. I invited ELFT and external speakers to discuss specialisms in areas such as primary care, social work, phlebotomy training, and HCA roles. I delivered Induction Training to learners via TEAMS. I interviewed learners for success stories for The Trust website.

I attended bimonthly meetings with our Chief Executive Officer to discuss the direction of the Equality Networks at ELFT and share updates and challenges. I worked closely with our non-Executive directors who input into the Equality Networks. We collaborated on the leadership and activities in the network. I delivered a Bespoke Allies Training to the Executive Team at ELFT which was very well received, I recruited senior leaders from external organizations to collaborate on creating a Trust Trans statement. I attended local and national level meetings and have close working relationships with the national LGBTQ leads at NHS England. I collaborated with NEL, NELFT, BARTS, BHRUT, and Homerton LGBTQ Networks to promote the networks at Strategic ICS level. I led on change ideas and increase the health and well-being of the LGBTQ Community across Northeast London. An example of this is my joint work with Keeping WELL NEL’s senior leaders, to develop a shared LGBTQ resource. This was a first for ELFT Equality Networks. In collaboration with Keeping WELL, I jointly designed a flag which showed a showed a 13% click rate at PRIDE.

I work as an Employment Specialist in Community Recovery Team North in Newham assisting people with severe and enduring mental health issues back into employment.

I was Network Lead for LGBTQ in Newham. I am very passionate about LGBTQ issues in one of the most diverse boroughs in the country. I organized a series of photographic images of BAME LGBTQ people coming out as part of LGBTQ history month In February at Newham Home Treatment Team.

I worked with adults with enduring mental health issues and complex needs in a residential care setting. I assisted residents with their life skills plan. I managed a coordinated series of structured activities for residents to include 1:1 sessions and groups.
