I am an experienced lawyer and a Fellow of the Governance Institute.I offer advisory and litigation services to individuals and industry as well as consulting corporate governance services to companies and not-for-profit organisations. I am available to work on contract and/or to go on the record in disputes. I have, on occasions, worked in client’s businesses.I have had rich and varied experience in mainstream private practice in national (now global) firms in Melbourne and Perth. I have held senior legal management and advisory roles in both corporate and government environments in Sydney and Perth. I have designed and taught compulsory final year units to law students in Perth. I have worked as a Group Secretary with responsibility for compliance in highly regulated industries in Sydney. I have worked as a Regional General Counsel at the corporate regulator in Perth and acted as Regional Commissioner in Canberra and Perth. I have twice been a member of the WA Law Society Council, most recently in 2018/19.I take legal and other work that interests me. I provide realistic cost-effective solutions to legal issues (including disputes). I will work pro-bono or on a deferred cost-recovery basis for those clients I determine are deserving.
