An experienced leader accomplished at applying a strategic lens to the development of solutions that improve physical and mental wellbeing.My career journey began as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting, where I gained an understanding of the principles of behaviour change and the environmental and systematic challenges people face in relation to chronic disease management in today’s healthcare environment. This ignited my passion for preventative healthcare and finding innovative and sustainable solutions that address the root cause of health problems. Following this, I undertook a career transition and joined the product team of an early-stage healthtech startup in London, who were committed to solving the type-2 diabetes and obesity crisis through mindset and behaviour change coaching. In the 4+ years I was at this company, it grew from 10 employees to over 100, helped over 150,000 people to improve their health without food restriction, and became the first habit change program to be commissioned through the NHS.As the head of the product content team, I had the opportunity to grow as a product all-rounder, obtaining significant experience in product strategy and development. Having established, coached and developed a team of health professionals, including health psychologists and nutritionists, I also gained a deep understanding of the intersection between psychological and nutritional interventions and the value of these working in unison to achieve a whole-person approach to behaviour change.Upon moving back to Australia, I transitioned into a Brand Manager role at Mindset Health where I am currently leading the product vision and strategy for the development of a new chronic pain product. In this role, I have the opportunity to combine my experience in healthcare and product management to transform evidence-based research into a digital solution that's accessible and effective for people living with chronic pain.I am dedicated to working on products that result in tangible change, by shifting the focus away from superficial solutions and instead addressing the root cause of an issue - powered by my never ending curiosity and desire to understand ‘why’.
