Within this role, I had sole responsibility for a large yard of horses, including both their day to day care and making longer term decisions. This enhanced my ability to make quick decisions and think critically.

As part of a team, this employment opportunity required the ability to work under pressure within the kitchen department of a large business, catering for up to 4600 people per day. My role enhanced my ability to work efficiently whilst also maintaining the high quality of products on offer, as well as part of a team. I also completed my Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate within this role.

Predominantly using Excel to extract relevant information from ‘The Racing Post’ archives stored at the British Library for use in research projects. This experience allowed me to efficiently handle a large quantity of data, using my initiative to complete the extended task independently.
